  1. Hi There, I am a jewellery student at University and I have recently began to attempt to use felt to create sculptural forms and I could do with some advice from felt Artists/ Designers as I am having a few problems understanding how to get a more rigid smoother form and clearer lines on the top of the vessels also how to make them more rigid instead of softer (I trie felt stiffner solution from Milleners). Please could you advice me at all and I could really do with help as it’s towards my year 3 final project work. You’re pieces are amazing and so colourful, well done.

    Thank you.

  2. I’m just beginning and love working with vessels. How do you get your vessels so round, do you felt on a form or resist? Any hints would be greatly appreciated. I have so many ideas and very little money for materials so don’t want to make many silly mistakes.

    1. HI Janeen,

I felt around a flat circular resist, cut a hole and remove the resist. Then I full until it’s firm, and insert a balloon, blow it up and leave it to dry. When it’s dry I pop the balloon.
